Get Going
We need EVERYONE (including you, that's right, you!) to help make this thing GO! Whether you've been at CLC a week, a year or a decade, we're asking for your help for just an hour or two a week (for the next 10 weeks). Take a look at the list of teams below and use the opportunity card to let us know how you can help.
Administration: Do you organize your socks by color and style? This is a team for you. Give us a few hours of time and we'll put you to work helping organize all of the campaign materials, mailings and just generally keeping the campaign running smoothly.
GO! Party: We're planning eight big, fun, informative events (called GO! parties) so everyone has a chance to hear the details of the campaign and ask questions. We're looking for men and women who can spend an hour or two a week helping us plan and organize one of the GO! parties.
Celebration: We're planning a super-sized Sunday service on November 4th and we need folks who can work with our regular Sunday morning team to help us plan and pull off something really, really BIG: 7 services, 3 campuses, 2 languages coming together for 1 event!
Media: Are you a photographer, videographer, designer, writer (or any other kind of er)? We'd like to put you to work helping finalize the campaign materials and capturing all the excitement on film/video.
Invitation: Would you like to make big bucks by spending an hour a week eating M&Ms and making phone calls? Here's your chance (except for the big bucks part)! Help us make sure everyone gets invited to the GO! parties and other campaign events.
Prayer: Do you believe that prayer does indeed change things? Do you recognize that serious stuff happens when you pray? Do you have 15 million dollar faith? Then you belong on the prayer team to help us plan the three major prayer events that will enable our vision to become a reality - "for with GOD, all things are possible!"
Student: We want everyone to GO! - including middle school and high school students - so if you've got a heart for teens, own an iPod, and can spend an hour or two a week helping our students GO!, sign up now (NOTE:you must actually know how to work the iPod to qualify for this unique opportunity)
Children: Do you listen to the Wiggles while driving to work or watch SpongeBob when you're home alone? Then this is the opportunity of a lifetime! Spend an hour or two a week helping the KidsTown staff and volunteers get our kids GOing.
Childcare:Have you seen all of those kids running around CLC on Sunday morning? Do you wonder what they're going to do while all of this is going on? Well, so do we. That's why we're looking for folks who are willing to spend an hour or two a week keeping an eye on kids so that moms and dads can help with the campaign or attend a campaign event.
